How To Find Public Car Auctions

August 25th, 2010 by jame2010

If you shop for cars online, I am sure that you have come public car auctions list. There are hundreds of public car auctions going on every weekend and knowing where they are can be difficult. However, with a simple search on Google or Bing you can find them and attend an auction.

To find a public car auction is quite simple. What you want to do is go to Google and type your city or state followed by car auction. You should get some nice search results. Try to save or write down the names of the auctions close to where you live.

When on these websites, make sure that the auction is open to the public. If not, it may require a deposit fee of a couple hundred dollars. Also auctions not open to the public are full of car dealers with huge budgets.

You see how simple that was to find public car auctions. Make sure you have a budget when you attend. I hope you have fun and win the car you want.

What A Great Weekend?

August 12th, 2010 by jame2010

This past weekend was a great one for me. I attended a couple of car auctions Wednesday through Sunday and it was completely the best five days I had in a long time, well in the terms of auctions. Each auction had very few people which meant more sales for me.

I usually set a budget, but this I did not. With a budget set this past week, I would of completely lost money. Every car that was popular that went by my eyes I bidded on. I counted how many times I set a bid for 5 days and had to be at least 50. That is outrageous really.

Out of those 50 bids I won 12 cars. These cars were in great condition and some even had very low mileage. I have never been so excited to see how fast I could sell all 12 cars. When I got home, I quickly rushed to put ads on my favorite car buying websites such as Craigslist and Ebay.

It has been 8 days and I have sold 5 cars. Im so glad parents are buying cars for their kids to go back to school. Thanks for reading my auction adventures.

Cant Wait Till The Morning

July 30th, 2010 by jame2010

I love cars! If you saw me for the first time you would be able to tell by my ferrari t-shirts. Yes, I do have a 2001 yellow Ferrari F30. However, I am not here to brag. I want to talk about my passion that is selling and buying cars.

This begun last year somewhat around this time. I wanted to test an idea of mine about selling cars. So I decided to find some car auctions to go to. In the past, I have heard how cars are so cheap, but still had my skepticism. So I did what anyone would do when they need answers, I googled it.

I search for auctions in my state and near my state. Found a 4 to attend for the month of July. So I set my budget for my first car auction ever. I was so excited. The budget was $3k. Yeah, I know it doesnt seem like much, but I made it stretch. The auction I went to had hundreds of popular cars and the bidding started at $400. There were only 33 people there. To make a long story short, at the end of the day I came home with 7 cars, no lie. I had Hondas, Escorts, and a jeep cherokee.

During the week, I placed ads on Craigslist near my city and surrounding areas. I figured I could make a decent profit by posting ads since it was free. Well, within one week I sold all 7 cars totaling $23000. Great return on investment I would say. This is how I began making big time bucks. I made that by posting ads that only took me 30 minutes in total. I have long scaled this operation up.

Let me give you some motivation. Now, I leave auctions with at least 10-14 cars of all makes and models. I attend two a month totaling around 20-28 cars. In one ne week the average I made per car was $2500. Multiply that! Yep $70k. Trust me this is a booming business.

Aston Martin or Maserati?

June 27th, 2010 by jame2010

If you could choose between an Aston Martin or Maserati, which one would it be? This question is a debate me and my friends were having a couple of days ago. So please take the time to comment. Later I would discuss the results and my opinion. Of course, my opinion is going to be based on pros and cons.

Who Did it?

June 16th, 2010 by jame2010

I usually stay up Saturday night looking at cars on cardomain into the wee hours of the morning, knowing I have church in the morning. I was browsing looking at all makes and models when I heard a loud noise outside. Most of the time our neighbors have social drinkings next door so I thought it was just somebody celebrating their drunkness.

So it is 2:00 a.m. and I have to go to bed because I dont want to fall asleep in church. So I wake up the next morning eat breaskfast, shower, get online, my regular routine. I hop in the car with my mom and she say OMG. Im like ok maybe she forgot something or the song playing hit her emotionally. No! I look up someone had thrown a rock and cracked my winshield on my Chevy Caprice (1985).

Im heated cause I just washed the car Friday and it was clean. And of all days why a Sunday? It was a good thing I was on my way to Church. Huh….well looks like I have to spend $175 to get it fixed.
